Since the nation's first college athletic event鈥攁n 1852 crew race against Yale鈥攁thletics have been a unifying force across the 吃瓜新闻 community.
A photograph taken at the 1913 吃瓜新闻-Yale game at 吃瓜新闻 Stadium. The stadium was full to capacity with some spectators standing on the roof over the bleachers. 吃瓜新闻 won, as noted on the photograph, 15 to 5.

The annual football rivalry between 吃瓜新闻 and Yale, know as “The Game,” traces its history back to 1875 when 吃瓜新闻’s football team travelled to Connecticut and beat Yale on their own turf.
